Vacheron Constantin Launches The New 14-day Tourbillon Watch

Vacheron Constantin’s new watch came in elegant rounded case, and it is powered by excellent tourbillon movement. This new 14-day Tourbillon watch is also brand’s first model that meets the new standard of the Poinçon de Genève. The new Caliber 2260 movement is made by Vacheron Constantin’s design engineers and skilled watchmakers. The movement put well with the case, and it can provide high quality power reserve, which is up to 14 days. The movement is applied two groups of barrels, and each group is composed by dual barrels. Therefore, the movement contains four barrels, which means that while they relax, the speed is four times slower than the single-barrel. 

The new caliber2260 movement is composed by 231 parts. Tourbillon Bridge is inspired by the brand's remarkable Maltese Cross, and it perfectly shows the excellent watchmaking crafts of movement’s each part, including lots of angles and handmade bevels. Watchmakers are committed to the traditional crafts and create the movement, which is polished and brushed. Hours and minutes located in the off-center position of dial, and the 14 days power reserve display in a special way, which provides convenience to read the time. The silver dial originated from rich cultural heritage of brand’s pocket watch. 

Patrimony Traditionnelle 14-day Tourbillon china watch is the first model that made by Vacheron Constantin under the new regulations of Poinçon de Genève. The new standard is the certification for the whole designer watch, rather than authentication of the movement before.
