From 22 June to 31 August, 2011, Swiss famous watch brand Tissot held a ladies watch exhibition named “ready-to-wear time” in Geneva Cit du Temps. The exhibition showed the perfect combination of Tissot’ s excellent watchmaking crafts and fashion women, and told the long history of Tissot’s ladies watchmaking development.
Tissot witnessed the change of the era, and also witnessed the change of the Designer Watch . The brand is the leader of the fashion. In 19s century, it created the complicated classic pocket watch, and today, it manufactures the fashion watch for the customers. The watches and relative historic documents which were exhibited at the exhibition told something that with the change of the era, females had different desire and demand of the watches. Just as the females’ clothing in different times, Tissot’s watches at the exhibition reflected brand’s history development and its steady watchmaking creativity, and also showed its watchmaking spirits of 158years.
